Indulge in not only the beautiful surroundings and relaxation, but also the variety of courses on offer as well as local activities.

Enjoy the use of two heated swimming pools, Jacuzzis, a gym and yoga studio and table tennis on the retreat. You can also make the most of a host of local activities such as cycling, paddle boarding, sailing, windsurfing, surfing, tennis, golf or some relaxing massages and reflexology.
We can arrange lessons in any of these sea activities. If you would prefer something slower paced you can take in the beautiful Vendée coastline with a beach walk and some sightseeing. Rob Brooks, the retreat manager, will ensure that your stay is exactly what you are looking for, whether you wish to be pampered, active, relaxed or a mixture of all three, he will make sure your activities are arranged to suit, providing a smooth and hassle-free stay.
Mikael, our resident water sports instructor can introduce you the delights of paddle boarding or the thrills of windsurfing. Availability dependent on sea/weather conditions.
Many kilometres of cycle paths through woodland, to the beaches and the Marais provide a wonderful safe environment to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Rob will provide bicycles at your request
Vendée is very proud of its many beaches. Many have achieved the blue flag for cleanliness and made up of clean sand with gently sloping towards the sea.
Many visitors choose to holiday on the shores from all around the world. The blue sea, and golden sand attracts many visitors that all agree Vendée has has many benefits, such as the amount of hours that beautiful sunshine creates a great seaside atmosphere and the natural untouched surroundings. The beach caters for the sailing enthusiast, even if your just using a dingy, or sailing that catamaran, or land yacht, its stunning scenery is enjoyable in any case.
The Vendée is home to six golf 18-hole courses, four of them on the coast and two inland. For serious golfers the best by a distance is the Domangère course at La Roche sur Yon. Next on my recommendations is the links course is Golf de la Pree north of La Rochelle . At Saint Jean de Monts, a number of holes on the edge of the beach is a links course. At Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, the Fontenelles course and its surrounding countryside is one of gentle undulations, maritime pines and green oaks. The course at Port Bourgenay is on an villa estate covering 85 hectares and is fringed by pine woodland and small lakes. At Olonne sur Mer a reasonable holiday golf course. All are an easy 1 hours drive.
Celebrate your birthday, and special occasions in style and luxury.
